On Friday, October 16, 2015 took place the opening of Ritual art – Time and Space exhibition in the House of arch. Dimov – Stara Zagora. This is the second exhibition for this month which will show the works of the participating artists in the sixth edition of the Old School Residency from Bulgaria, Poland, Spain, China and U.S.
Earlier that day the organizers of the Old School residency presented on a press-conference in Stara Zagora their concept about the possibilities for creating modern art in small villages. Since 2012 the team of the residency have been working on creation and development of Ritual art /RA/ as a form of art. The idea for its creation is a result of continuous search for a modern and conceptual vision of art that integrates the principles of rituals and ancient knowledge.
The exhibition will be open until Tuesday, November 10, 2015.
Organizing and Conducting of Ritual Art – Time and Space edition of the Old School residency is financed under BG 08 Cultural Heritage and Contemporary Arts Programme of the EEA Financial Mechanism.
