The paintings are a creative-philosophical thought experiment. These paintings and this experiment analyze one of the possible ways of future, sustainable development of Bulgaria, the Balkans and Europe in unity with nature. The path in question is based art.
Observing Bulgaria and the world today /21.09.2024/ we see that they are ” stuck” and desperately looking for a system of ideas that will give them meaning and faith to move forward.
In the past, similar systems were political theories, such as Marxism, Fascism/Nazism and Liberalism. Each of these theories had a subject they were based on and used to lead people. For Marxism it was the class, for fascism/nazism the state/race and for liberalism it was the individual. By now these theories are outdated and discredited, hence they cannot give faith and lead people forward.
We need a new political theory with a new subject. This subject could be art, as a philosophical concept, as seen by philosophers such as Nikolai Berdyaev and Giorgio Agamben. The new theory could be called Creative Political Theory.
The Creative Political Theory itself is in a state of development. It is not in a final and systematic form. Creative Political Theory is set forth as a new, possible path – beyond all known paths to date. Where this path will lead is not clear, because we are at its beginning and no one has walked it before.
The goal is to create a different world than the one we see today /21.09.2024/ – a better, beautiful and artistic world.
