L.Y.R.A., Bulgaria –Visual arts and Installations
L.Y.R.A. is a project by Darina /Rina/ and Dimitar /Nigor Pilnatsa/ aimed to create Ritual art. They are artists and lawyers who live and work in Bulgaria. Darina and Dimitar are also the organizers of the Old School Residency – Gorna Lipnitsa, Bulgaria. They have been organizing various art events since 2010. In 2012 L.Y.R.A. started their work on creation and development of Ritual art /RA/ as a form of art. The idea for its creation is a result of continuous search for a modern and conceptual vision of art that integrates the principles of rituals and ancient knowledge. At the heart of Ritual art are the ideas of the Manifest 2012 of the Old School Circle for the Beginning of the New World. Ritual art follows a clear goal of public significance that goes beyond the familiar and known.
In their works L.Y.R.A. mix the old knowledge and symbols with principles of modern physics /quantum theory and theory of relativity/ along with legal/ political models and techniques. Their works are ritually created imaginary sanctuaries including paintings, collages, texts, objects and performances. Each work is a result of previous research and study of the specific topic. At the end of this process the accumulated knowledge is incorporated in the work.
L.Y.R.A. work with the idea that every ritual artist is a creator and legislator who works in a peaceful and balanced state of mind to be able to perceive the fundamental unity of the universe. Only in this case its actions create interactions that dynamically change and transform the universe.

An artistic act of creating the artist of the future
So far, creativity has often been born out of imperfection and flaw, the rebellion in the status quo was tolerated, which, /sadly/, is a sales approach. All achievements of art and culture were symbolic – they weren’t realistic. So far all the art works have been only a sign and preparation for the true creation of another, new world – a world of creativity. Today’s artist can no longer classically, i.e. according to the norms, create art, culture, science, economics or politics. Everywhere he/she have to reach the limit, to cross beyond the borders, to create a new being – to elevate the failed mysticism of creativity.
The creative revolution is basically a revolution of the spirit that leads to a political, social, economic and cultural revolution. People of the creative spirit are not revolutionaries in the socio-mechanical sense of the word. Their creative revolution is incomprehensibly more radical, indigenous and organic.
Perfection IS NOT an accident is an art installation which is used as a tool for creating the artist of the future. It is based on the principles of a magical installation but the symbols typical for such installation are instead swapped for paintings and prints symbolizing the 5 main characteristics which, we believe, an artist should possess.

We desire not the symbols of love, but love itself. Not the symbols of knowledge, but knowledge. Not the symbols of strength, but strength. Not the symbols of revolution, but revolution. Not the symbols of unity, but unity.

Revolutions are the Locomotives of History
The Ritual Revolution is both a revolution and a ritual aimed at a complete reformation of society, through the institutional creation of politics as art and art as a policy. It is the struggle between ideologies and value systems. The Ritual Revolution may originate from a small group of persons /art evolutionists/, but its success depends on the approval and support of the people. It uses artistic practices/approaches for policy-making. It is one permanent revolution – once it has begun, it cannot end until it has established the Creative Model of Governance all over the world. The Ritual Revolution is a planned non-violent change that uses all the legal methods and means to achieve the ultimate goal, namely establishing the Creative Model of Governance.
