“While working side by side, we realized our similar approach to the creative process, and curiosity for the bizarre,uncanny and inexplicable.
After evaluating the knowledge gained from our visits to local areas, stories of the past and present, we developed a concept for a live performance in the context of connection and ritual.
The ritual performance, inspired by the local legend about the fallen dragon, that begins in front of the Old School will be a costumed procession. People are encouraged to participate and wear masks provided. We will walk through the town center and stop in front of the Community Center on the Pliska Rosette that’s painted on the square. The ceremony will proceed from there. Through movement, visuals and sound we hope to connect.”
