This work depicts the inner journey of the human spirit—the stages we go through when we lose ourselves and rediscover the light within us.
I created it with the intention of reminding us that this spark lives within each and every one of us. Sometimes we forget it, sometimes we get lost in fear and darkness, but it never goes away entirely.
The first painting depicts the strength that battles the fear and doubts within us. It reminds us that it is not fear that defines us, but the will to carry on in spite of it.
The second painting is the heart of the triptych—the spark of hope. It is born precisely in the darkness and begins to ignite the light. This spark restores our faith and helps us remember who we are.
The third painting depicts the moment when the light is already stronger than fear. It conveys a sense of peace, confidence, and inner victory.
My message to everyone is: keep that spark inside you. Don’t forget about it, even when things are hardest, because it is that spark that drives us forward.
Two Souls 2024 (oil on canvas)
This painting depicts the two sides of a person—one that’s gone to the city, and the other that’s stayed in the village. I made it to show how different places change a person and their inner world.
Black and white represent the soul that lives in the city. It is sunk in routine and stress. Emotions are dulled, and the ability to express them gradually fades away. Energy is slowly drained, day after day, with no way to replenish it. The big city becomes a place of constant struggle—a struggle for survival, for a space, and for peace. There, the soul is often left alone.
Yellow and orange represent the soul that lives in the village. It is quiet, calm, and balanced. It is filled with light, life, and warmth. There, a person returns to themselves, to a sense of freedom and inner peace. The village brings joy, comfort, and that tranquility that allows us to once again feel our soul.
