Arrival and accommodation of the artists in Gorna Lipnitsa.
10.30 Opening of the residency. Presentation of the working places in The Old School. Giving materials to the participants. Visiting the main places in Gorna Lipnitsa – the office of the mayor of Gorna Lipnitsa, Community center Zora -1887 and Museum collections located therein, Agricultural Museum.
18.30 – 20.00 Visiting The St. Dimitar church and Dragon ritual place /Zelen sinur/.. Walk around the village.
18.00 – 20.30 Ritual walk in the area of Gorna Lipnitsa.
11.00 A performance of Bulgarian ritual Kukeri by kukeri from Vresovo village, Burgas region. The event will take place in the center of the village.
Kukeri (Bulgarian: кукери; singular: kuker, кукер) are elaborately costumed Bulgarian men who perform traditional rituals intended to scare away evil spirits. The costumes cover most of the body and include decorated wooden masks of animals (sometimes double-faced) and large bells attached to the belt.
19.00 – 20.30 Running to Ostra mound – 10 km./Sun salutations – yoga practice. -/Optional/
18.00 – 20.30 – Cycling route: Gorna Lipnitsa – Djadopanovata Korija – “Tsarits” Fountains – “Kiunta” Fountain – Gorna Lipnitsa

On this day in the village is celebrated the Assumption of St. John of Rila.
Saint John of Rila Wonderworker is the most popular saint of Bulgaria – a healer and founder of the Rila monastery. On this occasion mass will be celebrated in the temple chapel St. John of Rila. The mass is open for visitors.
The ritual begins at 8:30 and lasts two hours.
10.30 A visit to the open-air market in Pavlikeni /Optional/. Departure at 10.30 a.m.
17.00 – 20.00 A visit to the archaeological reserve “Nicopolis ad Istrum” – Nikyup village
Nicopolis ad Istrum was a Roman and Early Byzantine town founded by Emperor Trajan around 101–106, at the junction of the Iatrus (Yantra) and the Rositsa rivers, in memory of his victory over the Dacians. Its ruins are located at the village of Nikyup, 20 km north of Veliko Tarnovo in northern Bulgaria.
