“GENERATION ‘I CREATE’” – ART FROM CHILDREN FOR ADULTS

“I am a Thing-Finder, and when you’re a Thing-Finder you don’t have a minute to spare…The whole world is full of things, and someone needs to find them. And that’s what a Thing-finder does.”

“Pippi Longstocking” by Astrid Lindgren

Between 2 and 7 July 2019, in the village of Gorna Lipnitsa, the tenth edition of The Old School art residency will be held with the motto “Generation ‘I Create’”. As is evident from the title, the focus this year will be on art created by children, following the idea that every child is an artist. With this edition the organizers of the residency direct their efforts and the attention of the public towards encouraging the creative potential of the children with the purpose of developing and applying this potential to their future activity in any sphere of life.
